Former U.S. embassy building in London will be turned into a luxury hotel

A 1 billion pound project has already begun, the former London's iconic U.S. embassy building into a luxury hotel.

The building is in Grosvenor square, the center of the capital to move to the city in the United States embassy in other parts of the new building, the old buildings then sold by the us government.

Now, the building has been converted into a 137 - room property, by Ross wood hotel (Rosewood Hotels).

In 2023, when completed, the hotel will have five restaurants, six retail stores, a spa and a banquet hall, can accommodate 1000 guests at most.

Building a unique appearance will be preserved, while internal will be changed completely.

Have the building developers Qatari Diar and British architect David Chipperfield supervision and interior design.Hotel will be traditional and modern technology together, matches by the delicate interior.
